The Environment for Development initiative is using a variety of approaches to enable collaboration between researchers and facilitating policy uses of the research. One particularly exciting approach has been the EfD/RFF Press book series. The EfD has enabled researchers to meet and discuss their chapters in dedicated “book workshops”. This has led to a lot of exciting research interaction as well as more homogenous edited volumes. The first book in the series was on the emergence of land markets in Africa. The second is on Agricultural Investment and Productivity - Building Sustainability in East Africa and is just out. More EfD books will be out in the months to come. These books are targeting MSc programs, desk officers in ministries and donor agencies as well as academics. Below you will of course also find links to the latest papers and news from the EfD!
