Workshops

In 2011, EfD-K researchers participated in many workshops a few of which are captured below. The researchers also took part in internal policy seminars organized by KIPPRA.

AERC Biannual Conference

The EfD-K Coordinator participated in the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) Biannual conference held in Nairobi in early December 2011. The theme of the conference was 'Growth, Inequality, Poverty Nexus in Sub-Saharan Africa'.

Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) meeting

EfD-K Junior Fellow, Geophrey Sikei, participated in a meeting organized by CCAFS in Nairobi. CCAFS is a research initiative by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) and the Earth System Science Partnership (ESSP) that aims to overcome threats to agriculture and food security caused by climate change and other factors.
