The impacts of climate change in Africa are intensifying.  These impacts will affect all business sectors, organizational operations and facets of life in Africa.  Thus, there is the need to develop the most practical measures of adaptation in Africa through policy development, technical systems deployment, public enlightenment and market incentives. Furthermore, organizations and professionals, as well as students, need to improve their awareness and proficiency in adaptation techniques through training and exposure to modern instruments of risk management.  This unique Summit will offer registrants with the opportunity to engage in analyses of both technical and policy aspects of climate change impacts characterization and adaptation.

The format of AFRICA CLIMATE ECO-TECH ABUJA 2011 comprises guest lectures/speeches; a keynote lecture; a briefing session by programme leaders; an interactive roundtable session, featuring renowned climate experts; and a training section covering courses on various aspects of climate change impacts characterization and management, to be taught by deeply experienced and distinguished experts from various countries.
