The two broad objectives of the workshop are:

  • to discuss the focus of the research and alternative methodologies that could be used so that common issues and methodologies could be used for purposes of comparison;
  • to discuss and agree on the way forward including ways of looking for funding needed to complete the work.

To achieve these objectives we expect participants to make presentations on what they propose should be done in the case of the country they represent including justification/motivation for the proposed work, (specific) objectives, methodologies, data that could be used and its availability/accessibility, some discussion of the data (such as descriptive statistics, if already available) and related issues.
